The Civil EIT (Engineer-in-Training) position requires an individual who is highly motivated, possesses excellent teamwork skills and pays attention to detail. They must also be flexible and adaptable in dealing with projects and clients.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
As a Civil EIT, your role will involve providing support for both roadway and/or construction projects.
Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, performing technical tasks such as checking drawings and calculations, developing material lists, and calculating quantities.
Assist with the development of project deliverables, including calculations, design plans, cost estimates, and specifications.
Contribute to a positive and productive team-oriented environment.
Offer open communication and feedback within the team.
Ability to write clearly to communicate technical issues and design ideas.
Ability to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
Conduct quality checks to ensure designs are free from errors or inconsistencies.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
EIT certification
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience:
Experience with OpenRoads Designer & MicroStation
